I got up early today, got the kids off to school, and took a tour through this week’s posts on business blogs. I found some great advice for small business owners, and for those just starting on the road to entrepreneurship. I thought I’d share:
First is “101 Tips from 50 Small Business Bloggers.” Fifty bloggers were asked to send in their best advice for small business owners, and the list is full of good suggestions on just about every aspect of running a business.
Next, the Small Business Trends blog interviews Larry Janesky, who took his company, Basement Systems, from a small home contracting business to an enterprise earning $50 million a year. Janesky offers five principles for running your business.
And for those just starting out, social media guru Chris Brogan gives advice in his blog about evaluating your business ideas. The “comments” section is a worthy read too, because lots of people have added their own thoughts and advice.
